5, Black Hag’s Cell


Prior to the dissolution it was said that the last abbess practiced witchcraft in a room to the south of the church which is now called 'The Black Hag's Cell'. This legend was probably propaganda in furtherance of the Dissolution of the Monasteries.




The Earl and Countess of Desmond were escaping the nunnery the Countess was wounded by an arrow. The attack was so serious that the Earl believed his wife to have died and had her buried beneath the altar in the main chapel. However she subsequently awoke to find herself buried alive and her screams are said to echo through the ruins to this day. Wikipedia

The most haunted house in Savannah,Georgia is the Hampton lillibridge residence.it is the science of several tragic deaths and house of true scary stories of real ghosts.Exorcism has failed to cleans the house.



3, The House Of Death


In 1856 Greenwich Village townhouse has been dubbed the “House of Death” thanks to a reported 22 former residents that have haunted the building over the years.





A number of these tenants died mysteriously in the home. One of the reported ghosts is Mark Twain, who lived in the house in 1900 and appeared as a ghost in the ground-floor apartment in the 1930s.




2, 29 Hanbury Street

A single fronted, three-storey dwelling situated on the north side of the street, approximately half way between Commercial Street and Brick Lane. Believed to have been built c.1740 along with adjacent properties by carpenter Daniel Marsillat. There were two rooms on each floor and like many houses owned by weavers had an attic or garret, effectively creating a fourth storey.




The floors were reached via a staircase on the left side of the property which itself was accessible from a passageway which led from the front of the house to the rear. The house was refronted in December 1849, possibly as part of converting the lower front room into a business premises. The house also retained its traditional shutters on the ground floor. 1, Letchworth Village

Letchworth was closed in 1996, leaving the buildings to decay. Many who worked at the Village refuse to speak of their experiences. Old methods of segregating patients and the disabled were changed to including them in society and bringing a normalization to them. Patients were moved to more up-to-date facilities in the county.





During the year 1996 on December 31 the faculties where permanently shutdown due to asbestos in the walls and on surfaces used for experiments such as the use for the vaccination of polio and unknown causes of hundreds of people's deaths.Wikipedia...
